I was raised by my grandmother in Roselle, New Jersey. After graduating from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, I spent two years working at the EdLab in New York City, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue my PhD in Philosophy at USC.
For the better part of the 2000s, I was in a band. We released a few records, and toured Europe and Japan, along with North America a few times. I was also a director of photography and film editor with a local film production company that released two independent feature-length films.
In 2017, before moving to Germany, my long-time partner and I stopped in Las Vegas. The King officiated.
These days, I’m learning German, and trying to take in as much of Europe as possible.
